Industry analysts reading this wrong? >> the question is, is netflix competition or complimentary? i think it's complementary. you look at the real numbers. you have about 29, 30 million american subscribers to netflix, millions more on amazon prime. you would expect this would diminish significantly the number of total paid tv cable customers. but it hasn't. that number actually grew slightly in 2012 according to r the go-to place for these numbers. so it does seem to me like these two products are complementary. it's not that the cord-cutting potential is cutting down the cable bundle. in fa...
