April catkins bring May flowers? Well that’s yet to see, but in the mean time, they sure brought in a very special edition of Spittoon Fiction Night. Join us on Friday 16 April from 20:00 onwards at Camera Stylo for a unique blend of fiction with art and music! Yes, you heard that right! We at Spittoon have been having so much damn fun lately that we’re just making it last with as many twists as we can possibly come up with to our monthly assortment of events.   Live art will be spoon-fed (or thrown in handfuls at you lot, who knows) by one hell of a creative pair – illustrator, painte...

At the start of each meeting everybody will write a short prompt, then we'll exchange them randomly and use the one we chose as inspiration to write for the next hour.       If you want to use this meet-up to continue something you're already working on, that's fine.

Please make sure to call ahead. Feb 18 20:00 pm - Event QR Code

The long, cold, dark nights of winter can seem...well, dark and cold and long. At least in Beijing the skies have cleared considerably in recent years and we can enjoy the fresh air while freezing our bums off and terrorizing people ice skating on the canal. That is our inspiration for this month’s Spittoon Storytelling theme: A Hazy Shade of Winter. So slap some monster sized mittens on your bicycles and head on down to Camera Stylo this Thursday at 8pm for warm cocktails and even warmer stories!

Join us Thursday January 14, 2021 at 8:00PM for another awesome Fiction Night!
