In a spacious meeting room overlooking the courthouse in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., a vision to “save Haiti” took shape. The $83 billion effort would reinvent the Western Hemisphere’s poorest nation, lavishing it with roadways, electricity grids, seaports and airports.

El FBI ya tiene listo un primer informe sobre el asesinato del presidente de Haití,
Jovenel Moïse, que le será entregado al Departamento de Estado en las próximas horas y, al parecer, no concuerda con algunas de las informaciones que están saliendo desde la isla.
EL TIEMPO conoció de primera mano algunos hallazgos de los agentes federales en los que se confirmaría que Moïse llevaba muerto –luego de ser torturado– al menos 45 minutos cuando arribó el comando de exmilitares colombianos.
