This goes down to the wire into thursday, we'll probably see some repercussions in the markets before hand. there will be skittishness, concern a deal will not be able to get struck. in many ways a deal needs to be cut sooner rather than later to ensure we don't see markets here in the united states or around the world start to go south. so that is what we expect to hear today or we hope to hear today anyway, that there is at least some kind of movement, some kind of discussion, if not even a deal, that there is some kind of understanding they will be able to raise the debt ceili ceiling. >> h...

We have all been talking together. we just had a little clash on the senate floor, the proposal is a bit in flux. and i'm willing to look at, you know, anything that they put on the table, but i think what's really important is to understand this, and you didn't mention it in your reporting. we just had a vote for a clean debt ceiling. in other words, a vote to make sure america doesn't default on its bills. and not run republican in the united states senate voted to proceed to that. they filibustered it. so even though we had a majority to move forward and start discussing it, they all voted ...
