SEBI for Ring Fencing Each Mutual Fund Scheme; Revises MPS Norms for CIRP Companies
2 Market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on Wednesday decided to make certain changes in its regulations for mutual funds (MFs), including segregation and ring-fencing of assets and liabilities of each MF scheme. The SEBI board, at its meeting, also decided to recalibrate minimum public shareholding (MPS) norms for listed companies going through the corporate insolvency resolution process (CIRP).
