Kathmandu [Nepal], July 30 (ANI): India-funded repair work of Nepal s Hiranyavarna Mahavihar and Digi Chhen temple, which is one of the cultural heritage sites in the Himalayan country, began on Thursday.
The Mahavihar (temple) is being reconstructed at a cost of Nrs. (Nepali Rupees) 181 million, Indian Embassy said in a release.
Reconstruction work of Hiranyavarna Mahavihar and Digi Chhen, Lalitpur started after the local community performed Chhema Puja . ....

The National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) has made 93 percent progress in the reconstruction of private houses.
“We have made satisfactory achievement in reconstruction and rehabilitation by managing the risks posed by Covid-19 pandemic,” said Chief Executive Officer of the NRA Sushil Gyewali..”There has been 93 percent progress in the reconstruction of private houses which is the main area.” CEO Gyewali was addressing a press conference today organized to mark the sixth anniversary of the April 25, 2015 earthquake that caused a huge loss of lives and properties.
Out of 811,754 earthquake beneficiaries who have signed agreement for the government grant, 753,104 beneficiaries (93 percent) have started rebuilding their houses, the press release said. First installment has been distributed to 99.86 percent beneficiaries, 86.78 percent beneficiaries have received the second installment ....

Kathmandu [Nepal], April 2 (ANI): The reconstruction of two government schools in Nepal has begun with Indian assistance on Friday.
The bhoomi pooja for the reconstruction of Shree Harisiddhi Secondary School at Roshi Rural Municipality and Shree Siddheshower Secondary School at Mahabharat Rural Municipality were carried out today, according to a statement by the Indian embassy.
These schools will be built as per earthquake-resilient reconstruction norms of the Nepal government.
The new infrastructure of Harisiddhi Secondary School will include a single three-storied block with nine classrooms, a lab room, a library and a separate block for sanitation facilities, the embassy noted. ....
