Reading man arrested in sex assaults on 15-year-old girl

Berks County detectives arrested a Reading man Tuesday following an investigation of alleged sexual abuse of a 15-year-old girl in a city home this fall. Nicholas Roman Jr., 41, is accused of sexually assaulting the girl, whom he knew, twice in October. Detectives said he provided her marijuana, sent her sexually explicit texts and threatened her not to tell anyone about the abuse.
