Manipur crisis: Manipur: 26 schools yet to re-open as they continue to be utilized as relief camps or for accommodation of CAPF

As many as 26 of the 4617 schools in Manipur, according to Minister of Education Basanta Kumar Singh, have not yet been reopened because they are either being used as relief camps, housing for the Central Area Police Force, or are located in sensitive areas. He stated that after the Manipur crisis broke out on May 3, 2023, the government has implemented a number of corrective measures for the displaced students in schools and institutions.
