We, the undersigned civil society organisations, strongly condemn the arrest and detention of ActionAid Zambia and Zitukule Consortium chairperson Mr Partner Siabutuba in Choma, Zambia on 10 March.  At the time of this statement, Mr Siabutuba was being detained detained without charge, without any indications as to what the cause of his arrest is. We urge the police in Choma to either release Mr Siabutuba immediately or formally charge him with an offence.
