Sasikala visits AIADMK founder MGR's residence, reaches her T Nagar home in Chennai to a rousing reception

Chennai: Expelled All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) leader VK Sasikala visited party founder MG Ramachandran's Ramapuram residence in Ramavaram Gardens in Chennai early Tuesday and paid floral tributes to his statue. A massive crowd gathered around 4 am to welcome Chinamma, as Sasikala is fondly called.
After 23 hours since she started from Bengaluru, Sasikala finally reached her family's T Nagar residence in Chennai, having travelled a distance of around 350 km. It was a massive show of strength all the way from the Tamil Nadu-Karnataka border to her home as people lined along the national highway to welcome her.
