KarlTzy hits first savage in Bren's rousing M2 debut over Japan's 10s Gaming Frost

Published January 19, 2021, 3:31 PM
Star carry Karl “KarlTzy” Nepocumeno’s signature Lancelot registered the first savage in the M2 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang World Championship as Bren Esports obliterated 10s Gaming Frost of Japan, 2-0, to start its campaign on Tuesday at the Shangri-La Hotel.
KarlTzy, the undisputed MVP of the MPL Philippines Season 6, was the same monster on the world stage with his Lancelot singlehandedly wiping out 10S Gaming in the easy second game of the swift series.
With the lopsided victory, the reigning Filipino champion Bren fired a warning shot ahead of its grudge match against Alter Ego Esports of Indonesia for an assured upper bracket spot later at 6 p.m.

Bren Esports came through with a vengeful 2-0 victory over Indonesia’s Alter Ego Esports to grab an upper bracket spot in the M2 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang World Championship on Tuesday at the Shangri-La Hotel Singapore.
The reigning MPL Philippines champion showed its nerves of steel in the hard-fought opener against the Indonesian runner-up before wrapping up the series with a dominant win in the second game.
It was a sweet revenge for Bren’s demoralizing defeat to Alter Ego in the grand finals of the ONE Esports MPL Invitational last month. Bren also dealt AE its first game loss since its perfect run in the MPLI.
