The Port Huron Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing man. Jackie Dewayne Taylor Junior was last seen Friday and is believed to have a diminished mental capacity. He is described as a 5-foot 6-inch tall Black male, approximately 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Any information on Jackie Dewane Taylor's whereabouts can be reported to CAPTURE at 987-6688 or St. Clair County Central Dispatch at 984-8415.

January 9, 2021 The McDonald’s Restaurant on 24th Street in Port Huron Township has reopened following a bomb scare. An anonymous threat against the restaurant was phoned in to St. Clair County Central Dispatch shortly after 5pm Saturday. The McDonald’s was immediately evacuated and searched. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s office says nothing suspicious was located in the building. Deputies were assisted by the Port Huron Police Department’s K9 unit. The restaurant has since reopened.
