something special was going to come, ijust didn't know when. the way i played the first round, it was pretty much the worst i could've done. the second round was like, 0k, obviously played really well. today, ifelt everything kind of clicking. to the world cycling championships in glasgow, where the highlight on sunday was a dramatic men's road race won by matthieu van der poel. the event was held up for almost an hour after environmental protesters glued themselves to the road. police made five arrests. the race ended with 10 laps around glasgow, rain made the conditions treacherous and caught out van der poel. but the dutchman got back up and actually increased his lead, crossing the line a minute and a half ahead of wout van aert, with tadej pogacar third. i don't think we see a course like this often, but i felt confident as well. there's only one rider that's going to win, and the chances are very small
