Yellowstone National Park officials have decided to temporarily close many roads leading to and inside the park because of the recent winter storm.
On Wednesday, the town’s highway superintendent was headed up to Bates Road with a front-end loader to attempt to dislodge the mired postal truck.
In a Facebook post, Alexander County Officials said multiple roads in the county’s Ellendale Community have washed out or damaged certain roads.

Due to the incident, Main Street and Highland Avenue in the city have been closed. River Road crossing near Warrior River is also being blocked at this time.
