MANILA - A lawmaker on Monday said the country's debt-to-gross domestic product (GDP) level is expected to decline every year from 2023, as long as the fiscal conditions do not deteriorate. Albay Rep. Joey Salceda said the country's debt-to-GDP ratio at 61 percent is high but manageable, especially if the GDP growth significantly outpaces debt growth.
