Leonard Ramatlakane, the former chair of the Passenger Rail Agency of SA (Prasa), moved out of a posh property belonging to the struggling state-owned entity in March
The country’s rail agency is once again without a permanent board chairperson after Leonard Ramatlakane was fired after an investigation into his use of Prasa accommodation which is used by officials on trips to Cape Town, instead of incurring hotel expenses.
The 70-year-old faced serious allegations including misconduct and misuse of Prasa owned property after he occupied a house in Newlands, built for when executives travelled to Cape Town.
