The Theatre Commander (TC) Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) Major General Ibrahim Ali has extolled the operational posture, proficiency and pro activeness of 7 Division Nigerian Army in sustaining the operational tempo and momentum in the ongoing onslaught against Boko Haram Terrorists and their Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) counterparts in the North East Theatre of operations.

The Force Commander (FC) Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) Maj Gen Abdul Khalifah Ibrahim accompanied by the Deputy Force Commander (DFC) Brig Gen Assoualai Blama and other senior officers of MNJTF have paid an operational visit to Headquarters MNJTF Sector 1 Mora , Cameroon Republic on Tuesday.

The Nigerian Army on Friday said its troops rescued two Chibok school girls and 99 other abductees from Boko Haram camps in Borno State. This was revealed by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 7 Division and Commander Sector 1 Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), Major General Waidi Shaibu while briefing newsmen in Maiduguri. General Waidi said the troops rescued the victims from different locations in Borno state between September 29 and October 2.

The Nigerian military has open a new camp at Gongolon outskirts town of Miaduguri metropolis for camping of voluntarily surrendered Boko Haram terrorists, following the increasing number of the surrendered insurgents and their families.

The Force Commander, Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) Maj.-Gen. A.K. Ibrahim, has urged troops to prepare for renewed operation on the shores of Lake Chad.
