The curfew that has been in effect in Trench Town in Kingston West since Thursday, January 7 has been extended from 7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9 until 7:00 pm Monday, January 11. Police said the curfew was imposed in the area following a flare-up of violence in recent weeks.
