The Government has come under fire from the Opposition on a number of occasions in recent weeks due to its use of urgency in the House.
Act leader David Seymour has been a particularly vocal
critic, saying the frequent use of urgency shows the Government is "more interested in its own agenda than what's best for New Zealand".

French magazine under fire after comparing Meghan Markle to George Floyd

French magazine under fire after comparing Meghan Markle to George Floyd
Entertainment
Sun, Mar 14, 2021
Controversial French magazine Charlie Hebdo wreaked havoc after publishing an offensive cartoon featuring Meghan Markle and Queen Elizabeth II.
The objectionable caricature of the feuding royals shows the monarch kneeling on Meghan’s neck, mirroring the death of George Floyd who was killed by police officials in a racially-motivated attack in the US last year.
The published illustration comes with the title “Why Meghan quit” with the Duchess of Sussex’s caricature shown saying, “Because I couldn’t breathe anymore.”
The cartoon by the notorious satirical magazine was condemned far and wide, as the chief executive of UK’s race equality thinktank, Runnymede Trust, Halima Begum termed it “wrong on every level.”

Beyonce's father Mathew riled up during an interview over a comparison between her daughter and  Chloe Bailey.
At Leah's Lemonade radio show, host Leah A. Henry asked Mathew what he thought about the comparisons between Chloe - who is signed to Beyonce's Parkwood management company with sister Halle - and a young Beyonce.
"Do you see the comparison? Like the same thing that you saw in young Beyonce, do you see that in Chloe Bailey?" Leah asked.
Beyonce's father became very angry and replied in his own words, saying: "You've got to be kidding me, right? You're asking me that question? Are you actually serious that you are comparing that young lady to Beyonce?"
