Governments in Thailand and Slovenia roll out biometric credentials to give citizens secure access to healthcare services.

The Malaysian Government has banned foreigners from driving trailer lorries in the country in a move to improve road safety, said Malaysian Road and Transportation Safety Association (MRTSA) chairman Nik Salim Nik Salleh.

Eye and facial recognition technology will be used in a pilot project aimed at improving healthcare services for foreign workers, refugees and ethnic people in five provinces, the Department of Disease Control has said.
