Rescue teams are asking landowners to search their land on the Comeragh mountains in Co, Waterford, where a Tipperary woman who was out hill running is missing for almost 24 hours. The female runner, in her 30s/40s and from the Tipperary-Waterford border, was last seen or heard at about 12.45pm on Sunday.
The married woman was due to return from her run along the Coumshingaun Loop trail at 2pm but when her husband did not hear from her he alerted emergency services at 3pm. The South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association (SEMRA), Search and Rescue Dog Association Ireland, Rescue 117 of the Coast Guard and local Gardaí have been involved in the search operation since Sunday. ....
