Tiffany jewellery designer Elsa Peretti dies aged 80

Elsa Peretti, who went from Halston model and Studio 54 regular in the 1960s and
1970s to one of the world's most famous jewellery designers with timeless, fluid Tiffany & Co collections often inspired by nature, has died. She was 80.
She died Thursday night in her sleep at home in a small village outside Barcelona, Spain, according to a statement from her family office in Zurich and the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation.
Elsa was not only a designer but a way of life. She explored nature with the acumen of a scientist and the vision of a sculptor

Peretti's sculptural cuff bracelets, bean designs and open-heart pendants are among her most recognisable work. She lent her classical aesthetic to functional goods, too, including bowls, magnifying glasses, razors and even a pizza cutter done in sterling silver, a metal she favoured and helped popularise as a luxury choice.

Gal Gadot finds herself decked in diamonds often — whether it's in new movies (she has two upcoming films that have big accessory moments) or attending virtual premieres in chic pieces (she wore Tiffany & Co. to the
Wonder Woman 1984 celebration). But at the moment, she has two people already eyeing her jewelry box full of gems — her daughters, Alma, 9, and Maya, 3.
"They love jewelry and love accessories," Gadot, 35, tells PEOPLE. "So, every time they see me wear something new, they are always very intrigued. They are already deciding amongst themselves who is going to get what when they grow up."

Calling all Londoners! Have you ever dreamed of having an iconic
Breakfast at Tiffanys moment, but haven't had the chance to journey across the pond to do it in NYC? You're in luck, because Tiffany & Co.'s famed Blue Box Café is coming to your neck of the woods for a limited time.
Opening on February 14, the British Blue Box will be located at Harrods department store in Knightsbridge, London, making it the first Blue Box Café in Europe. Situated on the ground floor, the café's design was inspired by that of the original Blue Box at the New York City flagship (which is currently closed for renovations). However, the London version will have its own unique design touches exclusive to Harrods.
