Update March 18, 2022Detectives from the Colorado Springs Police Department’s (CSPD) Homicide/Assault Unit have continued the investigation into the shooting that occurred on January 20, 2022, that resulted in the death of Kristopher Wilson.
Justis Daniel was found dead inside his caretaker’s residence near West 3rd Avenue and MacDonald Street at around 11 a.m. on Dec. 10.
On February 17, 2022, at approximately 9:33 A.M., the Colorado Springs Police Department’s (CSPD) Communication Center received a report of a shooting inside a residence in the 4700 block of Live Oak Drive. CSPD Officers responded and located an adult female and an adult male both suffering from gunshot wounds. Medical personnel responded and transported the male and female to a local hospital for treatment. The male succumbed to his injuries after arriving at the hospital. The female suffered life-threatening injuries and was admitted for treatment.
