Officials tell me this is a photo op. what they want to see is 1700 miles of waves in washington, dc, they want to see them doing the work here. coming down here does not much for the problem. it merely puts it for incentive for them. the work needs to be done in washington, dc. as for people here, they are saying it is overwhelming. we have talked everything from sheriff deputies to fire chiefs who are saying this puts a burden on their ability to basically protect and serve their own communities because sometimes they have to go and help the migrants. that is forming this community that cros...
