The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Ogun State 1 Area Command has said that the viral video depicting shooting by its officers was recorded on Saturday around the Lafenwa/Enu Gada axis of Abeokuta, the state capital at a moment when the officers repelled attacks mobilised against them by some smugglers. The NCS Public Relations Officer of Ogun 1 Area Command, Hammed Oloyede, made this known on Tuesday in a statement made available to journalists to clarify the action in the viral video in which the Customs officers had been alleged to have invaded the market.
