A civil court in Bengaluru has restricted IPS officer D Roopa and nearly 60 media houses from publishing "false and defamatory" statements against IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri.
It was on Thursday that a City Court issued an interim injunction forbidding nearly 60 media organizations and IPS officer D Roopa to publish false and defamatory statements against IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri.
The court also clarified that Sindhuri was to restrain herself from publishing or circulating any views concerning the subject matter of the suit.
This comes after IPS officer D Roopa accused the IAS officer of corruption.
Despite gag orders, an audio clip containing conversation between a RTI activist and IPS officer Roopa surfaced indicating that cold war continued between the officers.
