據內政部統計，截至今年7月底止，北台灣核定的危老重建案共1,396個。另據住展雜誌統計，同期公開銷售的危老建案共約214個，僅占核定件數約15.3％。住展雜誌研發長何世昌表示，自《危老重建條例》實施至今，危老推如雨後春筍般冒出，似有取代都更之勢，但至目前為止，釋出市場銷售的危老案僅約一成五左右，意味還有極大量的危老案未公開，未來將成為推案主力之一。
