welcome back. as we turn to some of the morning's other headlines. thousands have been evacuated from the ukrainian region of kherson following the dam break that happened early tuesday. drone video shows the devastating impact. 4,000 people have been forced out in nearby areas according to officials from both ukraine and russia. the u.s. state department estimates roughly 20,000 people will end up having to move due to the resulting flooding. local ukrainian media reports there have been three confirmed deaths, at least ten people are missing. no official cause yet for the explosion of the dam, but it's believed it was carried out by russian forces in an effort to slow down the ukrainian assault. meanwhile, pope francis is expected to remain in the hospital for several days after undergoing successful surgery
