Derek Whitt has been convicted of voluntary manslaughter in the death of David Ballinger. Video footage from the bar on English Avenue shows Whitt’s then-fiance having an argument with Ballinger on Aug. 25, 2018. Later that evening, Whitt came to the bar and confronted Ballinger, then started a fight with him in the parking lot.
