The Top 10 best, worst and drunkest Orange Goblin gigs

Booze, birthday cakes and punctured arsecheeks – here are the 10 most memorable Orange Goblin gigs according to frontman Ben Ward
Orange Goblin have been flying the flag for British metal for more than 25 years. That’s a hell of a lot of miles covered and several oceans of booze knocked back.
Last year’s planned 25th anniversary celebrations were scuppered by the pandemic, but this summer will see the stoner metal behemoths roaring back into action. Their belated Silver Jubilee celebrations kick off with a pair of headlining gigs at The Dome in North London on June 18 and 19, which will also act as founding bassist Martyn Millard’s swansong (the shows will also be livestreamed).

Tawny Kitaen surely was the epitome of rock and roll, her brother fondly remembers.
The video vixen died at the age of 59 on Friday, May 7 at her home in Newport Beach, Calif. Her younger brother, Jordan Kitaen, revealed to Fox News that a "cathartic" celebration of her life was held in California on Monday featuring speeches and musical performances from a few of her loved ones.
The service is something Jordan says helped to provide the family "some closure" following her untimely death. While touching on the highlights of her career as an unforgettable star of rock music videos in the '80s, there's a special memory between the siblings that Jordan still laughs at to this day, and it dates back to 1988.

Whitesnake's 'Here I Go Again' Tops Chart After Kitaen's Death

Whitesnake’s classic single “Here I Go Again” has topped the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart following the death of Tawny Kitaen, who starred in the song’s iconic music video.
Kitaen became the essential MTV video vixen after “Here I Go Again” debuted in 1987. In a silky, white nightie, Kitaen seductively danced on the hood of two cars in between cuts of Whitesnake performing onstage. Shortly after its release, “Here I Go Again” hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Nearly 35 years after airing for the first time, “Here I Go Again” is No. 1 on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart. Spending its first-ever week on the chart, the Whitesnake power ballad came in ahead of Five Finger Death Punch’s “A Little Bit Off” to take the top spot.

The Emmy-nominated comedian's agent Helene Shaw confirmed to USA TODAY that Mooney died of a heart attack. "The Brilliant, talented, one of a kind, comedian, Paul Mooney has passed away. He died of a heart attack. There are many stars in the sky, but there will always be only ONE MOON," Shaw shared in a statement.
Journalist Roland Martin also announced news of the comedian's death on Twitter: "Comedic legend Paul Mooney has passed away. His cousin, Rudy Ealy, just called me from Paul's phone and said he passed away two hours ago after suffering a heart attack at his home in Oakland."

Tawny Kitaen, MTV Rock Goddess and Hair Metal Icon, Dead at 59
Tawny Kitaen, the actress and model best known to rock fans for her part in Whitesnake’s music videos “Here I Go Again,” “Is this Love,” “Still of the Night,” and “The Deeper the Love,” and former wife of lead singer David Coverdale, died at the age of 59 in Newport Beach, California on Friday, May 7. Kitaen’s death was confirmed by her daughter Wynter Finley.
TMZ  reported Investigators don’t suspect foul play in her death. However, the actress’ brother, Jordan Kitaen, believes a broken heart played a part in his sister’s passing. Jordan thinks her father’s death on April 12 after a long battle with cancer, was “too much for Tawny’s system to handle, especially because their dad’s funeral was just days away when she died,” per TMZ.

Tawny Kitaen 'was ready to tell all about stars in memoir' & believed people 'would want her DEAD' if book were released

Updated: May 17 2021, 15:00 ET
TAWNY Kitaen was "ready to tell all" in a memoir she was writing before her tragic, sudden death earlier this month.
But in an exclusive interview, her ghost author chillingly told The Sun that she feared some people would rather see her dead than have her book be published.

The model and actress, who starred opposite Tom Hanks in Bachelor Party, had lived a fast life among Hollywood's A-list crowd, and was chronicling her life's adventures when she died.
The Sun spoke exclusively with Tawny's ghostwriter Colin D. Heaton, who alleged the actress had less than favorable things to say about some of Hollywood's biggest names.
