A consultative meeting of ATSUM, KSO-GHQ, ANSAM resolved that the Hill Areas Committee (HAC) recommended Autonomous District Council (ADC) Bill 2021 should be tabled in the Manipur Legislative Assembly at the earliest.
The ATSUM pointed out that since independence, the tribal communities in the state have lived as a neglected population despite the guarantees in the Indian constitution through Article 371C.
