A new out-of-control wildfire in British Columbia's Interior has sparked a mandatory evacuation order in an area approximately 600 kilometres north of Vancouver.
Peace River Regional District board chair Leonard Hiebert said there have also been reports of others driving into the wildfire area, "impeding the response."
The Boundary Lake wildfire is currently burning out of control and is an estimated 1,900 hectares.
2 other people are in critical condition.
Two children and two adults are still in critical condition after 15 people were initially hospitalized in an apartment fire last Friday.
