Nigerian Police Foil Robbery Attack In Delta, Recover Arms, Ammunition
The Delta State Command of the Nigeria Police Force says it has foiled an armed attack in Asaba, the state capital. The Command's spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, adding that the incident happened around 4.30 pm on Sunday. Edafe said the command also recovered a fabricated AK-47 rifle with 12 rounds of 9mm live ammunition and 23 live cartridges which were abandoned by the hoodlums.
