The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced that a deep depression over the Bay of Bengal may turn into a cyclone by Monday evening. The cyclonic storm will be named 'Hamoon' by Iran. Currently located in the west-central Bay of Bengal, the system is expected to intensify and move north-northeastwards, crossing the Bangladesh coast between Khepupara and Chittagong on October 25.
