In the current budget talks, which is to say democrats have realized that americans still think that their concern about deficits were not so concerned, they want programs that they think are useful to them. meantime, they are happy to have taxes raised on the other guy. when you ask them about the bush tax cuts, they think reversing them just raises taxes on rich people not on them. keep the programs i want. somebody else's taxes will pay for them. that's the american mindset right now. it's interesting to me the deficit talk of the last several months which has been pretty intense hasn't rea...
