《ThinkAdvisor》報導，準確預測1989年日本經濟泡沫破裂、2000年網路泡沫破裂、2016年川普當選的鄧特表示，各國央行正「像吸食海洛因成癮的癮君子一樣操縱和刺激經濟」，他正在等待經濟恢復正常，「他們會繼續刺激，不惜一切代價維持這場泡沫，但不能只是不斷地注入資金，推升金融資產價格。我們現在有個比以往任何時候都大的泡沫」。
儘管投資人仍看好美股長期前景，但鄧特警告，美國經濟情況已不像以前那麼好了，提醒「經濟不一樣了，白痴們！」、「再多的刺激措施也無法解決問題，投資人將蒙受損失」。
鄧特警告：「這是歷史上最長的牛市，也是最具泡沫的市場，當崩盤發生時，將會變得很嚴重，這將是我們一生中最大的1次崩盤，各國央行將失去控制，我們一生中股市最糟糕的1年，很可能是在2022年底左右，對經濟來說則是2023年。」
鄧特今年3月曾警告，美股6月底前將上演「史上最慘烈崩盤」，但最後並未發生。鄧特坦言，自去年3月武漢肺炎（新型冠狀病毒病，COVID-19）疫情重創經濟後，經濟正持續反彈，但他不認為這將持續下去，「無論如何，各國政府都會讓這場泡沫繼續下去，故問題是它何時會破裂？」
鄧特預測，如果不是9月的話，泡沫可能在7月底就會破裂，主要原因與房地產市場有關，「房地產是經濟中最大的部份，如果銷售持續放緩，那麼房價就會變得疲軟，這就是那種會把事情搞砸的事件」。
鄧特指出：「房地產市場仍在泡沫化，但美國房屋銷量在過去的5、6個月內已下降22%或23%，這是個訊號，表明泡沫是有限度的。」
鄧特認為，由於美國經濟過度擴張，再加上低利率因素，美國經濟的衰退將艱難而迅速，「人們認為經濟復甦會一直持續下去，但是當它被打擊時，將會被打擊得很嚴重。1場雪崩需要多少雪？只需要1片雪花，因為雪一直在堆積，再多1片額外的雪花就崩了！」
