A significant crowd and rush were evident on Saturday at various railway stations in Uttar Pradesh, where candidates were heading to take the constable recruitment exam.

UP Police Constable Exam 2024: The state government is recruiting 60,244 police constables to further strengthen the police force, the examinations for which are being conducted on February 17 and 18 at 2385 centres in all 75 districts of the state.

In the police constable recruitment examination in Uttar Pradesh, 120 people have been arrested for cheating and impersonation. The examination had 48 lakh candidates and was held in two shifts. The arrests took place in various districts including Etah, Mau, Prayagraj, Siddharthanagar, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, Jaunpur, Firozabad, Kaushambi, Hathras, Jhansi, Varanasi, Agra, Kanpur, Ballia, Deoria, Bijnor, and Gomtinagar in Lucknow.

According to officials, during the application for the exam, Sunny Leone's photos were uploaded by candidates, and upon receiving complaints, the recruitment board immediately corrected the admit cards by uploading blank photo sections.
