Joey Johnson returns to mound after Tommy John Surgery

As a sophomore on Sedona Red Rock High School’s baseball team two years ago, Joey Johnson delivered a pitch and instantly felt pain. When Johnson threw his last pitch in that game, it ended up being the last he would throw for two years.

Coming off of consecutive lopsided losses, Sedona Red Rock High School’s baseball team needed a good game against Desert Heights Prep Academy on Tuesday, April 13 to break its funk. The SRRHS team got the necessary result.

If there was any doubt that Sedona Red Rock High School’s girls basketball team would remain undefeated when it hosted North Pointe Prep on Saturday, Feb. 13, it was erased early.
The Scorpions dominated the game throughout, scoring as many points in the opening three minutes as the Falcons scored all game. In the end, Sedona was on the right side of a lopsided 92-14 final score, moving to 6-0 in the process.
