District election officer Sakshi Sawhney conducted a surprise checking of nakas set up by static surveillance teams in Ludhiana to keep vigil on objectionable material. Special checkpoints were set up to monitor suspicious activity. 126 SSTs are rigorously conducting vehicle checking drives at district intersections, main roads, and markets. Instructions were given to check all vehicles and confiscate anything suspicious.
