New Alpha Hart Lewis Elementary School principal announced Columbia Public Schools COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) A new interim prinicipal at Alpha Hart Elementary School will be recommended to the Columbia Board of Education. Brian Rehg will take over the role from current Principal De’Vion Moore, who was named the next assistant superintendent for elementary education for the school district. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at the district administration building, 1818 W. Worley St. People from Cooperative Strategies, contracted by the school district, will present options for elementary boundaries starting in August 2022. District Chief Operations Officer Randy Gooch provided background last week to the school board's Long Range Facilities Planning Committee. "This is going to be an important meeting," Gooch said.
