MADISON, Wis. -- The trial for one of two men accused of shooting and killing 20-year-old Devon Grant at the Harmony Apartments last July continued Wednesday.
Devonte Gafford, 32, is charged with first-degree intentional homicide as a party to the crime for the death of Devon Grant, a week shy of his 21st birthday in a close-range shooting on July 13, at the Harmony apartments in Madison. Gafford's trial began Tuesday with testimony from the victim's mother, who witnessed the gunfire that killed her son.
Wednesday marked the second day of trial for one of two men in the deadly shooting at a Madison apartment complex last summer.
