House Fire Quickly Knocked Down Near Ashville | News, Sports, Jobs
etichy@post-journal.com ASHVILLE — Despite snow-covered roads that made responding to a house fire Monday morning a little more difficult, volunteers quickly doused the blaze near Ashville. Crews were called to Diffley Road around 9:30 a.m. and confirmed a working fire. Volunteers from Ashville, Panama, Sherman, Chautauqua and Lakewood were summoned, along with Chautauqua County EMS and the county fire coordinators.
