Oppo seems to be following a dual SoC strategy wherein it will launch two variants of the Oppo Find X5 Pro – one each with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and Dimensity 9000 SoC from MediaTek.

OPPO has been said to use flagship-grade processors from both Qualcomm and MediaTek in its upcoming top-end smartphone series since rumors of the devices in question, the Find X5 and X5 Pro, started to emerge. Now, the OEM has confirmed that this is in fact the case, and that the Pro will be, or at least will have, a Dimensity 9000 Edition.
The OPPO Find X5 Pro Dimensity Edition will be the world's first smartphone to sport the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 flagship chip.
Oppo will also offer a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 version of the Find X5 Pro.
