University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has said the registration for the 2023/24 Post-UTME Screening exercise which started on Nov. 23 will end on Dec. 3.
The Nigerian Law School has banned Baze University in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, from admitting students into its Law Faculty for consistently violating its admission quota of 50 students per session as approved by the Council of Legal Education (CLE). Baze University was founded by Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, the running mate to the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi.
The Nigerian university system is downplaying the fortune of polytechnic students and does not recognize the Higher National Diploma, universities and some working institutions have no regard for the HND. This is why only Direct Entry of level two is allowed even with HND certificate, but the story is different outside the country.
The university via a statement issued in Benin by its Public Relations Officer, Dr Benedicta Ehanire, said 13,367 candidates were successful in the just concluded post UTME examination.
