THE government must take steps to ensure that disabled workers are not unlawfully targeted for redundancy, the TUC disabled workers conference demanded today. Disabled workers are over-represented in insecure work and are bearing a disproportionate burden in key worker roles without the most basic employment protections, the conference heard.
