The notice stated that the allegations made by Annamalai in his press conference are baseless, lack material and cogent evidence, unverified, and tantamount to reckless disregard for the truth. "These statements have been made only with the intention to defame our client (Udayanithi Stalin) and tarnish his reputation in the eyes of the public", reads the notice.
DMK Youth Wing chief and Tamil Nadu Minister, Udhayanidhi Stalin on Wednesday sent a legal notice to state BJP president K Annamalai over certain allegations made by the latter titled the "DMK Files."
In response to DMK's Rs 500 crore legal notice, Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai on Monday said he is ready to face all legal actions.
The ruling party also demanded damages to the tune of Rs 500 crore that would be donated to the CM’s public relief fund.
The DMK has demanded that Annamalai apologise for the allegations and delete the ‘DMK Files’ video from all social media handles.
