BuCor frees 9 PDLs from 2 jail facilities

Published July 6, 2021, 11:06 AM Bureau of Corrections Nine persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) have been released from the Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm (IPPF) in Puerto Princesa City and from the Sablayan Prison and Penal Farm in Occidental Mindoro. The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) said that of those freed, three had been granted parole, five had served their prison terms, and the other was a returnee whose credits under the good conduct time allowance (GCTA) had been verified and confirmed. It said the release of the nine PDLs was in line with the memorandum issued by BuCor Director General...
