Done they passed the dickey amendment. none of funds that go to cdc shall be used for mode or advocate gun control. it said nothing about doing research. it did not stop cdc from doing research. it was a shot across the bow. the second shot was congress removed 2.6 milli$2.6 millions were using for the gun violence prevention research. it fell off by more than 90%. what do we do today. it's so important not to repeal it. that will set us back. we need congress to appropriate money for gun violence prevention research at cdc. that will give permission to cdc
