AN 80-YEAR-OLD DES MOINES WOMAN WAS ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE STRUGGLING TO GET AN APPOINTMENT AT WALGREENS. WE BROUGHT YOU DONNA ALBRO’S STORY YESTERDAY. ALBRO SAID SHE WOKE UP THIS MORNING READY TO KEEP TRYING. >> I THOUGHT, I THINK I’LL JUST HAVE A CUP OF COFFEE FIRST BEFORE I CALL THE VA, OK. WELL PRETTY SOON THE PHONE RAN 8:00 AND IT WAS MY DOCTOR’S OFFICE, AT THE VA. STACEY: THAT’S RIGHT DONNA GOT HER VACCINE APPOINTMENT. SHE’LL GET HER FIRST SHOT TH SATURDAY AT THE V.A. DONNA SAYS SHE HEARD FROM SO MANY FRIENDS AND STRANGERS TRYING TO HELP AFTER THEY SAW HER STORY. SHE KNOWS SHE’S LUCKY AND TELLS ANYONE STRUGGLING TO GET AN APPOINTMENT THAT YA GOTTA DO WHAT YA GOTTA DO >> KEEP TRYING. BECAUSE THERE WILL BE RESULTS EVENTUALLY.
