Bremel: Voting down Kwik Trip's liquor license is the wrong move

Now, ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you the three Janesville City Council members who ignored the wishes of their constituents and who apparently think we are irresponsible consumers of alcohol and cannot be trusted to make our own decisions. Council members Paul Williams, Susan Johnson and Michael Jackson chose personal politics over progress at the most recent council meeting. These leaders failed to understand the concept of servant leadership and instead chose to force their personal feelings on the public they represent. All three newcomers mentioned road repair funding as a high priority now that they have been elected to the council. Marshick believes his experience with Downtown Janesville Inc. will reduce his learning curve as a new council member, while Miller i...
